I love to sew.  Well I did when I was a kid - my grandmother was an amazing sewist and creative.  Somehow - I lost the love for the next 20 or so years.  Then I needed drapes for my bedroom in 2014 - and they were a FORTUNE!  SO I called my grandmother and she and Izzy taught me to make Roman Shades.  After that - I was hooked!  I made several quilts, learned to paper piece, and I was enjoying it.  I had the idea to start this website with my grandma.

But sometimes - as life does - we get delayed. And then it was too late - I lost my grandmother in the spring of 2017 and put away my threads.  I couldn't look at them, or the projects or anything else.  

So I boxed up my UFOs, I packed away my machine and ignored it for a while.  And then it was time to make masks for COVID.  The feel of the fabric, the hum of the machine, and creating something from noting - I was reminded of my love. and I've been with it ever since.  I even bought my first long arm!

I've had a few. stops and starts - and probably will again - but I want to share what I've learned and teach others about the endless possibilities.  My posts will capture the projects I'm currently on - and things I've made in the past - I'm all about sharing.
